I'm really not interested in seeing Cleveland again, not that they are a
threat, just bored with them.
Boston is interesting and I feel a good opponent. People rave about
Garnett, Allen and Pierce but that man in the middle isn't bad either.
Perkins has proven himself just as valuable to that line up. He's a
legitimate hardnosed center.
Ratliff against Perkins.
Prince against Pierce.
Rip against Allen
Sheed against Garnett.
Damn that's entertainment!
And we do want to beat the best don't we?

Perkins is a starter, Ratliff is not. McDyess would probably play
against Perkins. If Ratliff got in the game it would probably be
against Powe.

Perkins is Legit center, Mcdyss is NOT!
Ratliff will get the most minutes against him or we lose...
You place a questionable power forward who's performances haven't been
grand lately against a bull of Celtic. Ratliff has the long body,
jumping ability and arms to make Perkins completely defunk.

So Perkins is our biggest worry? I'm glad you're not coaching... So
glad!!!... Dwight Howard is much more a threat than Perkins could ever
be and Dyess, Sheed, etc did fine against him. I see Big Baby Davis
being more of a problem than Perkins. Big Baby was the one that got
them the win here at the Palace during the season.

I know I shouldn't but . . . Have you been watching how McDyess has
been playing in the last several games? I mean, Ratliff is a useful
4th big in spots, but did you really want to change a major part of
our rotation in the ECF and take out a guy registering double-doubles
in the last round, because we're worried about matching up with
Kendrick f'n Perkins? Hey, why not replace Rip with Afflalo (no diss
Aaron, I love you) because we want to match Rondo's youth? -- Joe
