News Article from The (Portland) Oregonian - July 31, 2007

Scottie Pippen may have six NBA championship rings to Rasheed Wallace's
one, but Wallace is hoping to one-up his fellow former Portland Trail
Blazer in the housing-market game.

Wallace recently relisted his 9,914-square foot home in the Dunthorpe
neighborhood at $5.2 million, down from the $5.5 million the
controversial player sought when he first put the house up for sale last
year.

At that price, the Wallace home -- a 1924 mansion designed by architect
Ellis F. Lawrence -- would fetch significantly more than the $2.95
million Pippen and his wife received for their West Hills home last
month. The Pippens paid $4 million in 2000 for their 18,700-square-foot
home, meaning it lost more than 25 percent of its value over the years.

Wallace and his wife, Fatima, bought their five-bedroom home in 2000 for
at least $3.5 million. A power forward and two-time all-star, Wallace
was traded from the Blazers to the Atlanta Hawks in February 2004.
Atlanta quickly traded Wallace to the Detroit Pistons, where he helped
the team win an NBA championship that season.

It's silly. 2.5 would be better. Probably a $90,000 home when built.
