Pistons vs 76ers And A Look Forward

A road that game that the Pistons lost! A rare occurance but once
again most of the starters were played sparingly and Rip is still out
with the bum hip.

Chauncey played major minutes for a starter logging over 29 but
Stuckey got the rest off the bench in Chauncey's place logging over 27
minutes.

Pistons shot a better percentage (43%%) than they did against the
Knicks but the 76ers shot 50%%. They also out rebounded the Pistons
43-39.

I don't like 2 game losing streaks but I'm sure the 76ers are playing
harder than the Pistons at this time of the year as they don't want to
drop out of playoff contention. They currently have the 6th seed but
only by a game over Toronto in the 7th.

In terms of best records in the NBA, Pistons have the same record now
as the Hornets (55-23) and both have a two game lead over the Spurs
who were spanked hartily by the Suns last night (4/9).

On Friday (4/11) Pistons are home against the Wizards who beat the
Celtics (the Wizards have won 3 out 4 from the Celtics this season)
last night. The Hornets travle to L.A. to play the Lakers.

OK. I thought they lost the game in San Antonio. Hornets lost to the
Lakers last night (4/11) and Pistons spanked the Wizards with a 34-13
3rd quarter so that puts the Pistons 1 up on the Hornets for HCA in
the NBA Championship series should the two meet.
