There is a book about her first championship...the story is a cross between
Sister Act and Hoosiers.

Was in the 1970s and the first nationals. Coach Sister Rush was not much
older than her players. Their gym had burned down so they played all their
games on the road.
They went as 15th seed in the then 16 team national tourney after losing
70-38 in the reginal final... The girls sold toothbrushes and other stuff
tyring to raise the money to go to the championships. They were short and
left some of the team behind.
They won big in the first round, beat Indiana State by 2 pts and then the
huge upset the top seed Mississippi State. Then they avenged their earlier
beat down in the final, the first title bestowed by the Association of
Intercollegiate Athletics for Women. (The NCAA took over the championship in
1980s.)
