I'm not sure Doug was Courtney's problem. Look at his history.
Selected by Orlando Magic in the first round (13th overall pick) of
the 2000 NBA Draft. Rights traded to Dallas Mavericks for future
first-round pick and cash on 6/28/00. Traded by Dallas Mavericks with
Christian Laettner, Loy Vaught, Etan Thomas, Hubert Davis and cash to
Washington Wizards for Juwan Howard, Obinna Ekezie and Calvin Booth on
2/22/01. Traded by the Wizards to the New Orleans Hornets for a
first-round draft pick in NBA Draft 2002 (Juan Dixon).
Came off the bench in NOH and gave them about 9 PPG and not much else.
Gone from the NBA after the 2003 season due to a ruptured right
Achilles tendon, which he injured in a preseason game in Orlando.
