IT meant that Flip never should have been hired.

Think a minute!

The Pistons has recently won a championship when Sauders came in. Had
been back to the NBA finals as well. Now here comes a coach who's never
been in contention. How can lead or take a team somewhere that he
himself had never been. Pistons had a DUTY to hire some coach who at
least had won a championship and could then look team members eye to eye
and hold their respect.

What did Flip first do? In error he instructed the Pistons to go with a
primary zone defense.
That's wrong, being that it was tough man to man defense that got them
the victory over LA and the title!!! He doomed himself the first time
he opened his mouth and tried to focus on offense only.

Which they lost with Brown's leaving the team for 'health' reasons a couple
of times and his players knowing he was shopping for other jobs (illegally
while under contract).

Yep... no coach has ever won their first championship... Phil Jackson will
obviously beat Doc Rivers this season.

Question #1. Name those coaches that had won at least one championship
fitting your requirements that were avalaible at the time Brown said 'buy me
out' and Dumars hired Flip.... Does one in 1979 but mostly lottery teams
since then work for you?

Did I give you too much credit?

You completely missed the point!

The point was not that a coach without a ring could win over one who
has...

The point is that no coach should enter a situation where a team has
recently won a title when he himself has never done so.

Wasn't that Pat Riley's situation when he first got to LA?

I addressed your 'disrespect' point. ...so disrespectful they started 37-5,
second-best first half in NBA history, and set a franchise record for wins
and road wins, and had 4 starters go to the all-star game.

You claim Dumars should not have hired Flip or any other coach that did not
have at least one championship.
It is a simple question. Name who should have been hired that was available
that had a championship.

Here I will help you and make the questions multible choice....

Obviously not on the same page.

The introduction of Saunders is proven a bust.

I was right in that he shouldn't have been hired.

Was right when I said he should have been fired after the first season.

Was right when I said we'd never win a title with him at the helm.

Was right when I said Joe's only posponing the inevitable.

Was right when I said Flip was going to be fired this season.

I don't see where you have any leverage to offer conflict truly on the
matter at hand.
Saunders was a complete failure here.

Worse, they were 11 games into the season when Westhead was fired.

3 Trips to the CFs and setting franchise records in the regular season does
not make a bust...nor does a 3 year stay.
The window was shutting on the aging players as much as the coach.

You are not right unless there was someone better available and Dumars
passed them up.
Yet you set criteria and refuse to answer who fits it...because no one does.

fitting your requirements that were avalaible at the time Brown said 'buy me

Going to the EC finals 3 seasons in a row is not a bust. Goals
weren't reached (NBA championship) but that doesn't equal bust.

If not Flip, then who?

No you weren't.

Lucky guess.
