Subject line says it all. Well, that and Prince/Hayes/Hermann going a
combined 1-21. And Detroit as a team scoring 10 points in the third
quarter.
Sports fans have a tendency to be over-dramatic, but I'll say that was
about the worst I've ever seen Detroit play (they needed an otherwise
meaningless three-point play with 13 seconds left to avoid their
lowest-scoring game ever).
Now, they were coming off a back-to-back where the first game went to
OT, the starters saw heavy minutes against the Spurs as well, and it
was the last game of a four game road trip. Compare how many road
games Detroit has played (22) with how many Boston has played (17).
Still, it was just awful. One of those "don't even look at film, just
forget about it" games. -- Joe

Where can the blame be placed?
Fatigue?
Shouldn't be that considering the mass amount of talent and depth
Detroit has.
But they've had extensive travels lately..
And New York is getting stronger. Any given night they could produce a
win. Pistons might not have got pumped up for this one after test
against Spurs, Mav's, etc..

Be not afraid, my brother. We are safe for now. For Frodo has returned the
ring to the the fires of Mordor.

Not Skippy this time. There is a spammer who has been posting this stuff
under other people's names in a lot of newsgroups.
