The jury was clueless. Have you seen Anucha? No man would want to
hit that. Case closed.

I don't know what that jury was thinking. I followed that case pretty
closely and read all of the testimony and I certainly didn't see any
issues of "sexual harassment" there. Maybe some inappropriate locker
room talk but not much else.

Anucha looks like a little boy with long hair. Not sure what her
background was, i.e., very religious, no brothers etc. etc. But to be
offended by bad language to the extent of filing a "sexual harassment"
civil suit is rather curious. The words "gold digger" come to mind.
One must remember that the burden of proof is much lower in a civil
case than a criminal one. I expect this to be overturned on appeal.

Oh you do, do you? On what grounds? You are aware that an appeal
will be faced with the burden of introducing new evidence, or
demonstrating that there was a judicial or legal flaw in the
proceedings that led to the verdict. And what evidence is there that
the Knocks have anything of the kind to present on appeal?

I'm guessing Isiah has hit worse than that over the years. Some guys
like ugly for some weird reason.... Some guys need strange....

If I had to guess, just on instinct, I would say guilty. I didn't
think that about Clarence Thomas. I just think Isiah behaves like
he's been told he can do whatever he wants since he's 11 years old,
and finally someone called him on it.

You know, I did have to laugh at a comment posted under some news
article about the trial that read "Who in the world would want to
sexually harass THAT?"

You beat me to it.
Also, sexual harassment is almost always based on constant verbal abuse, and
nobody should have to work under such conditions. ...

Skippy, Isiah is not really being punished here since he is not
paying. All they figured is that he probably said the things she said
he said... by itself, that didn't amount to anything.

MSG is being punished for essentially firing her because she lodged
the complaint. This should not only have never gone to trial. It
should have been handled on day one, in house. Really "a stern talking
to" towards Isiah from Mills or Dolan was probably all it would have
taken for none of this to take place. They basically had to say
"Isiah, that bitch/ho stuff... knock it off now. Not in the
workplace... ever". Then he says "ok" and leaves. More likely than not
that would have been the end of it.

Instead Mills blows her off and Dolan just up and fires her without
consulting anyone. What a maroon!
