Obviously, the most important question is when Chauncey will be
healthy again. Although the Pistons played tough in the third quarter
without him, and it's possible Detroit could still win a series
against Orlando without him, the Pistons obviously need him. We can't
beat Boston or the Cavs without him, and even against the Magic,
Billups posting up their smaller guards is one of our best matchups.
Also, Orlando really can hit lots of threes, and Howard is not going
to be held in check consistently like he was in game 1. -- Joe

Well, they were number one in the league in 3's, that is why I said
they *have* to hit their 3's to advance in the PO's.
Nobody wants to play this team because they are dangerous, and have
been underrated all yr. And obviously, Boston has been overrated, at
least IMO.
James had a *horrible* game 1 and Boston barely squeaked out a win,
what are they gonna do when he plays well?

Prince did a good job running the point, as did Stuckey when he came back
after the first benching. On the other hand, they miss Billup's care with
the ball
-- when he's out, Hamilton's tendency to try to do too much
increases, and the ball movement tends to happen too late in the shot
clock. Detroit's defense of Orlando's 3 point shooting feeds off of their
success on offense. When Detroit turns the ball over or takes wild shots,
Orlando has way too much time to pass the ball outside, in to Howard, and
back out again.

Geesh.... Do not get ahead of yourselves.... that 4th win is the hardest.
3-1 is far from a guarantee and that turn around has happened several times.
'Sheed's last season with the blazers was only the 2nd team in league
history to take an even worse 0-3 deficit to a game 7.
And that game was tied at about 3 minutes to go....

Wallace: "They already know what I'm going to say.
It's already etched in their reporters' manual."
Cheeks: "What? 'Just ballin?' "
Wallace: "No . . . Good game. Both teams played hard."

The Pistons have too much PO experience for the Magic, it's over
Johnny.

Billups could easily be out or limited in game 5, and the Magic can win. I
hope he plays at least a few minutes, if for no other reason than to spare
us the sight of that coat.
I'm still waiting for Orlando to hit a more mortal number of 3s, but they
could easily make up for that and win if Howard puts up big numbers. I'm
not sure why he had such a weak game yesterday. Detroit worked hard, but
weren't superhuman. I was pleased, though, to see Wallace get some smart
scores off of him in the second half.
Prince was great again, and Hamilton was excellent. He pushed himself this
game, but unlike a lot of times when he stretches, he stayed smart, and
didn't get stuck on trying to drive through traffic every time he got the
ball -- he stayed with his medium range catch and shoot game.
