Most of the room wasn't being used and of what was were cheap ticket
seats. The Palace off of I-75 is much more accessible the Silverdome
at Opdyke and Featherstone.

and I suppose you think that all people should rent rather than buy a
house. The fact is when Davison (sic) built the Palace it was with an
eye towards other things which turned into the Shock, Vipers. concerts
etc. So why should he have continued to pay the City of Pontiac for an
outdated barn?
