It's a good move. Getting Joe Smith for the Bulls is small consolation
for McDyess, who was the guy I really wanted.
It definitely means they're going for it again this year. Dumars has got
to have one eye on the clock with the age of some of these guys and how
incredibly healthy they've been. None of them are really considered
"old," but Tayshaun is the only one really considered "young".
Is Earl Boykins still looking for work? Not saying he'd fit with Detroit
-- at all -- but if he's still on the market, he can't cost much. And
I'd take him over Murray, but I'd probably take about 150 players over
Murray.
