The trade that brought Boston to the penthouse in the East and the
chants of greatness to come is hitting its first snafu.
After an impressive start and almost to mid season the mighty
remanufactured Celts have lost to a couple teams they should have
punished.
Piston team members haven't noticed Boston's dip. They can barely keep
an eye on the win lost records in the local papers seeing how tight
their own schedule has been.
Boston is feeling the pains of not having an adequate bench, that's
unlike Detroit who in the past two seasons have had help just wasn't
utilized. Doc would be elated if any members on the pine that could
contribute immediately before Garnett, Pierce and Allen blow a fuse.
Big Baby is coming along after having a coming out party and confidence
builder against Detroit recently others have yet to rise. Boston will
be good should they reach the promise land but they don't have enough
horses for the final stretch. Best they could do is win the Eastern
Conference and Detroit will max out their efforts leaving them no gas to
contend against the race horses of the West. Could be some more horse
tradin' before it's all set, that is if they are wise.
