Webber would probably not get a 10-12 million dollar contract with any
NBA team so he might just grab this. I lived on the island of Cyprus
for a year and they always showed Greek pro basketball games on TV. I
remember seeing quite a few ex-old NBA guys playing for different
Greek teams. If memory serves me right, and it might not, I think I
recall seeing Bob McAdoo in some Greek uniform.
One thing about the Greek fans in Athens (where I also spent more time
than I cared to), if they don't like the way you are playing, they'll
throw coins at you. More than once I saw games halted so they could
clear the floor and admonish the fans (like that was going to work!)
If Webber plays over there like he did in the playoffs here, he could
get rich just picking up the coins after the game!

Well Greece would be better than playing in Israel, where if you don't
maintain your average nightly you simply don't get paid at all.
I told you all the Pistons kill talent by reserving them on the bench.
Webber was the hero of the second half of the season and now he is
headed overseas needlessly.
BTW in 1978 Milan, Italy didn't have running water or electricity in the
hotel rooms. I hope Greece is much better than that or Webber will
suffer deep depression all because of Flip Sanders.....

BTW Rdjio's ratio of minutes played at center, Webber was still the
better between he and Sheed at the position.
Chris average 11 and 7 with few minutes at a position he was acclimated
to. And when Sheed was entertained at center we weren't WINNING! The
first half of the season was a bust!
Hey, like I said we had our run for five seasons, it's done. Could be
maintained if Sauders was gone, but he's still here. He'll get Johnson
and Maxiell 12 minutes a game and have a lame excuse for the rest.
He's a bum coach, period. But hey, you got the Lions to watch on TV so
don't get depressed.
You'll only have from Jan to March before the Tigers get swinging again!
It'll be okay, no need for tears unless you're wearing a Piston uniform.

Coaching Staff:
Players had issues With Laimbeer. Rick Mahorn was the voice of reason.
Cheryl Reeve was the master in Xs and Os. The coaches still had to
find the right buttons to push, and that wasn't suppose to happen with
all the talent the Shock had as defending champions.

Every GM in the league obviously don't agree with you.

Oh, boo hoo. He ought to suffer deep depression for his choke jobs in
the playoffs alone.
