Now, back to the Conf Finals again.
Awesome ! 6 in a row - an accomplishment no matter what.
Who would you rather face ?
I kinda want Boston... if we beat 'em - fluke year and overrated.
Cleveland - redemption, but kind of boring for me and
sick of seein Queen Bron Bron eat his finger nails for at least 4 games.
Big Ben - eh !!
Wings and Pistons in '08 (The year of the Octopus) !
WTF Tigers ????
Oh, same ol Lions.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Footnote :
When is Flip gonna play Webber ?
Now I know the man love "webtv" guy had w/ C Web...
Webber and WebTV !
Just sayin.
I think they'd be fine facing James -- he'd score, but I think they'd be
capable of keeping him from dominating again.
Cleveland could pull another surprise, of course. With guys like Ben
Wallace and Varajao they have the ability to play the type of wild all
over the court defense that Philly played, and James is a much better
offensive threat than Iguodala. Add in the possibility that Billups
could still be limited (or possibly out) and Cleveland might upset
Detroit. I wouldn't expect it, though. I do think it would be a very,
very ugly series.
First, nice to win two without Chauncey. Great to see Rip step up the
scoring, and big contributions from Tayshaun (what a block!) and
Dyess, and, in key spots, 'Sheed and Stuckey.
Either opponent would offer challenges and a story line. If it's the
Cavs, there's the replay of last year's finals, and I agree with this:
When Wallace, Joe Smith, Z, and Anderson V. are all healthy, the Cavs
have a lot of decent bigs. Plus Wally and Boobie can go on shooting
streaks. So they can be dangerous.
Credit where credit is due, that was more of a great play by Bird,
than a Thomas screw up.
"I think Larry is a very, very good basketball player. He's an
exceptional talent, but I have to agree with Rodman. If he were black,
he'd be just another good guy." It didn't seem so on that play.
Just for you http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43DrapEn5QA
And congrats on advancing.
From a coaches stand point he'd rather face Boston, they've yet to when
a game on the road in the play offs.
Also Boston is the team more likely to tire and fade being that they
don't get much from the bench.
Futher, they'll likely be content to have made to the ECF this year and
consider the season a success before any game seven arises between them
and the Pistons.
As for Cleveland, these guys are young, hungry and have the King! He's
going to get x amount of calls and is capable of self dismantling of
Detroit in any given fourth quarter. And this guy never gets in foul
trouble, alarms should be going off all over the place!!!
We match up better with Boston!
You poor lonely bastard, you live alone with no one to share you pc
with.
Things changed as they should. Pistons got the message the fans and the
media gave them.
Orlando had yet another successful season.
Boston is struggling as predicted because of a weak bench. They will
march onward hopefully. We really don't want to play a team that
defeated the Celtics. Cav's are highly motivated and that's not good.
Even if that was true, I'll never be a guy who pretends to be both a washed
up pro and a cheerleader, who also believes martians built the Taj Mahal
with technology stolen from Captain Kirk.
Funny how you don't have the basic courage to defend the things you say,
and invent the Anita Darling persona to say them for you, and go the
lengths of creating this bizarre page to try to convince people she's real:
http://community.webtv.net/AnitaCotillier/AnitaDarling
By the way, it's also funny how you cut out the previous message when it
exposes how much of an idiot you are, as if that will somehow prevent
people from knowing. Don't worry. I've pasted it right back on, in case
you have the basic integrity (I'm not holding my breath) to reread what you
wrote and acknowledge how dumb you were.
