Thanks for the link. The tone is completely different from the other
article.
As I said previously, from running injuries chronic or severely acute over
the past 30 years, on the very rare occasions that I've had cortisone
treatment, there is an amazing difference. It should be a last resort for
amateur athletes, but with professionals there's no question in my mind that
is is performance-enhancing. I'd call it more performace-enabling.

Hey, the Mets are probably drooling at the chance of bringing Spicolli
back to the cheers of his many New York fans. They love signing
ex-Yankees. I'll bet Boras gets em to come up with a 4-year deal.
Then by July they'll be trying to figure out how to trade him.

"World champ Cards visit White House: Team has brief ceremony with President
Bush to celebrate"
By Jeff Seidel / Special to MLB.com
WASHINGTON -- St. Louis manager Tony La Russa, pitching coach Dave Duncan,
chairman of the board/general partner William O. DeWitt and a group of
players got a chance to meet President George W. Bush at the White House
last August. The Cardinals were struggling on the field at that time, but
Bush couldn't forget a feeling he had after the meeting ended.
"After they left -- I haven't had a chance to share this with Tony La
Russa -- I was convinced the Cardinals were going to go all the way," Bush
said yesterday. "You know why? Because he was. Because he believed it. And I
appreciate good leadership."

If Sammy comes back, let him stay in that inferior league (AL).

Drop it, youse guys, or Roy might step in here and start wailing about PEDs.
We know, though, that Sammy got so pumped up by that salsa music that he
could hardly NOT hit all those dingers.
