Let me guess. Another pitcher instead of a posistion player that will
help a few years down the road. Phil Humber. Remember him? Great pick.
Let's draft pitchers. Remember the Pressly guy? David West. Great pick.
Kazmir. Now, what about David Wright, Reyes, Davis, Carter. Quit wasting
your draft picks on pitchers who don't make it.

Who gives a shit about Hazel Mae? Does she bat .330? Well, maybe in the
sack.

I think he's splitting his salary with Omar the hispanic lover. This was
planned. They are sitting around drinking Coronas laughing. Worst move
besides trading Amos Otis, or Nolan Ryan.

Jerry Manual is no where near that smart.

Nothing like compounding the injury of a bad signing. Hard to believe
that Ollie would still be on the team if he was only getting $1 mill.
At some point, they have to come to grips with the fact that they're
simply out $12 mill/yr x 2. Ala GMJ, etc.

I notice that the Brewers gave up on Jeff Suppan today. He's their
version of Oliver Perez. Actually Ollie's pitched better than Suppan
if you're comparing awfulness.
The point is that Milwaukee is a small market team that is willing to
eat a huge chunk of salary.

This says his 2010 salary is over $12 million.
Will the Wilpons ever get the message that if you have to pay the guy
anyway it's better to release him if he's just clogging up a roster
spot and not contributing?
