Bronson Arroyo says "hi".

He was screwed a lot worse than that for his loyalty, and yet, he'd
run back to Theo in a heartbeat.

You don't have to crow about the value of the contract, you simply
make the deal.

I'm pretty sure this is his 2nd year. If memory serves, he signed a
deal last year for about $4.5M which I think may have been a record
(My what a difference a year makes!)

Let's wait till the end of April, before we worry too much about that.
Playing time for Tony Womack made the internet a busy place for reds fans
during last off season, but somehow when it came down to it, he didn't see
many plate appearances.

I think this is winter-sell-paper happy talk. The message I recieved as a
fan is that the front office is aware of Junior's problems in centerfield
and has approached him about moving. They've cloaked the move as trying to
keep his bat in the lineup.

  Good news for reds fans.

In today's ddn, Hal McCoy reveals that Jerry Narron has already told junior
that he will be in right field come spring training.

That's absolutely spectacular news. Just great. It means the reds front
office is paying attention to what is going on and not just looking for gate
receipts. I'm really thrilled.

Junior was not a quality centerfielder and while he was out in center the
notion that this team was going to play good defense was a fantasy.

Sign Lohse to a long term contract and the off season is a solid B for
Krivsky.

No, he made just under $4M last year.

The AP has it at $1.6 million this year, $2,525,000 in 2008. There is a
third year team option for $3.5 million with a $375,000 buyout.
>They have also signed Paul Wilson to a minor league contract.

Goes without saying, but of course there is a major league camp invite
included.

The Reds have only Lohse and Harang still arbitration eligible. Teams
and players have until noon today to exchange figures.
