Re: Travel advice from locals or the experienced

Thanks for all of the replies gentlemen. I was thinking more of
withingwalking distance of the stadium, but we will be renting a car as the
trip is expanding a bit as flying in to catch a game or 2 in Atlanta, drive
to N.C. to see relatives then drive up to St. Louis to catch a a game or 2
there.

Thanks again,

Wilson hit 29 HRs in 2004. This is a good move.

Now Matt Diaz had a career year at the plate last season, maybe he can be
moved for an established 2nd baseman.

As the smoke clears, it's apparently Gonzalez and Lillibridge for
LaRoche and Jamie Romak.

Just out of college, that's not too surprising. He's played a year of
A, I assume he'll play a year at AA, then we'll see if he's a prospect
or a AAA player. An 860 OPS at A ball doesn't sound to bad for a SS.

[Ex-Brave] Marcus detained after Qualcomm Fight

Author: Colin William
Date: Jan 17, 2007 07:14

Saw this over at btf:

http://www.signonsandiego.com/sports/padres/20070117-9999-1s17giles.html

" New Padres second baseman Marcus Giles was handcuffed, detained and
escorted from Qualcomm Stadium during Sunday's Chargers playoff game after
getting involved in a fight on the stadium's club level, according to
police.
Giles, 28, was given the option of returning after being detained but chose
to leave, said San Diego Police Lt. Dan Christman. Giles does not face
charges for the incident."
