This facility replaces Bay Meadows and is a few blocks north of the
track.

The basics: General admission is $3 (free for the first month) and
the very large room resembles a second tier Nevada sports book. An extra
$5 gets you into the Seabiscuit Cafe with individual tables. If you get
there early enough (it opens at 10) you can get a table with a tv,come
later and there a 7 huge tv sets on the wall.

Food: Very reasonable- Got a pork sandwich and potato salad for $8.
The cafe menu is the same as the snack bat but you get table service.

Parking: Free

The one drawback is the noise. A 6 foot high temporary wall
separates the two area and conversation is difficult but they are moving
to a new building next week.

Great news for tobacco addicts-An outside area has betting
terminals,seats,tvs and allows smoking.
