the Child Protection "INDUSTRY"

Child Protective Services Does not protect children...
It is sickening how many children are subject to abuse, neglect and even
killed at the hands of CPS.

every parent should read this .pdf from
connecticut dcf watch...

Number of Cases per 100,000 children in the US
These numbers come from The National Center on
Child Abuse and Neglect in Washington. (NCCAN)
Recent numbers have increased significantly for CPS

Perpetrators of Maltreatment

Physical Abuse CPS/Foster care 160, biological Parents 59
Sexual Abuse CPS/Foster care 112, biological Parents 13

In the final debate of the Democratic presidential primary process,
Senators Hillary Clinton of New York and Barack Obama of Illinois
squared off in Burbank, CA. Seats in the Kodak Theater were rumored to
be going for $1,000 each as the two appeared alone on a debate stage
for the first time in the contest.

The pre-Super Duper Tuesday debate got off with a conciliatory note
from Sen. Obama.

"I was friends with Hillary Clinton before we started campaign, and I
will be friends with her after this campaign is done," he noted.

But he added that there was a choice facing voters.

"It is about the past versus the future," he said, hinting that he
represented a new choice.

Bill Clinton has angry response for 9/11 heckler
David Edwards
Published: Thursday January 31, 2008

The Clinton campaign may be stopping President Bill from taking on
Senator Barack Obama in his public appearances on his wife's behalf.
But that doesn't mean he can't go on the rampage against '9/11
hecklers.'

"9/11 was not an inside job, it was an Osama Bin Laden job," President
Clinton proclaimed in the campaign stop.

"We look like idiots, folks, denying that the people who murdered our
fellow citizens didn't when they are continuing to murder people all
around the world," he added. "So we heard from you, you go away."

omney Spokesperson Confirms it: Mitt Hasn't Bought Any TV Ad Time In
Any Feb. 5th State
By Greg Sargent - January 31, 2008, 9:13AM

With five days to go until Super Tuesday, Mitt Romney's spokesperson
is confirming that the Romney campaign has bought exactly zero TV ad
time in any of the states that vote on Feb. 5.

"We currently haven't purchased any ad time yet," Romney spokesperson
Kevin Madden confirmed to Election Central, when asked about Feb. 5th
states.

The Associated Press, relying on anonymous officials, reported the
lack of any ad buying on the Romney campaign's part. The Politico also
confirmed this late yesterday evening.

Even more interesting, Madden also refused to say whether the campaign
would be buying any ad time in any Feb. 5th state. Asked if Romney
would buy any time, Madden said: "We don't telegraph strategic
decisions like ad buying ahead of time."

Why do democrats defend republicans? If Bill Clinton and the democrats
really were an opposition party they would join with americans who blame
the 911 attacks on the republicans.

Hil vs Obama Debate - still health-insurance centric

No real out of the box thinking there. It still features
insurance companies and the pretense that there are
no other choices which is a complete fraud.

Clearly, the unprecedented actions by the Fed and the administration show they are worried - panicked, even - that the developing economic slowdown portends much worse than a garden-variety recession. Their "sweat" is clearly showing

Why? What? When?

The Fed cut rates by another 50 bp (0.50%%) yesterday for an
unprecedented total 125 bp in just 8 days. This brings the target rate
to 3.00%%, already one of the lowest levels since Bretton Woods and the
inception of the Dollar Hegemony era. And there is more to come:
immediately after the FOMC announcement a major Wall Street firm
predicted (begged?) that the next cut will be a full 100 bp to 2.00%%.

If there is a notion of non-profit, then it should apply to anything
that meets the minimum requirements. There must be no exclusion based
on religion or similar.
