Judeo Christians think it is the "end times" even though it has been
the "end times" for over two thousand years so far. They think the one
and only hope is for Jesus to return and straighten everything out.
And a big part of the plan is the destroy the world. They think wars
and everything being blown up is a great thing because it means Jesus
will return soon.

Marxists were murderous lowlifes but they said religion is the opium
of the people. There obviously is some truth to that. Enemies often
have some truth in their arguments. On top of the opium there is the
Jewish propaganda started by Scofield.

Christians are great for telling what some of the problems are, such
as homosexual perversion, feminism etc. But to actually solve these
problems one should look elsewhere. Who do Christians hate the most,
first Hitler and then the Muslims. These are the two who actually
solved the problems that Christians are famous for speaking against.
Maybe the Muslims go a little overboard but they are the opposite of
liberalism. There is no way that "Brokeback Mountain" would be shown
in a Muslim country.

Bush Aide Resigns Over Plagiarism

WASHINGTON — A longtime aide to President Bush who wrote occasional
guest columns for his hometown newspaper resigned on Friday evening
after admitting that he had repeatedly plagiarized from other writers.

The White House called his actions unacceptable.

The aide, Tim Goeglein, had worked for Mr. Bush since 2001, as a
liaison to social and religious conservatives, an important component
of the presidentÂ’s political base. Mr. Goeglein was influential in
decisions on a range of questions important to that constituency,
including stem cell research, abortion and faith-based initiatives.

A blogger in Mr. GoegleinÂ’s hometown, Fort Wayne, Ind., found the
plagiarism.

“This is not acceptable, and we are disappointed in Tim’s actions,” a
White House spokeswoman, Emily Lawrimore, said Friday morning, hours
before Mr. Goeglein resigned. “He is offering no excuses, and he
agrees it was wrong.”

Gordon Brown is facing the threat of his first defeat in the Commons
since taking over as prime minister, after a Guardian survey found
strong - and growing - opposition among Labour MPs to the government's
plans to detain terror suspects without charge for up to 42 days.

As the Labour party gathers in Birmingham for its spring conference,
where ministers will be lobbied by opponents of the planned
anti-terrorism laws, the Guardian found as many as a third of the
party's 205 backbench MPs could rebel against the government.

Brown has a Commons majority of 67 which means the government could be
defeated if 34 Labour MPs rebel, assuming every opposition MP votes
no.

support as it did to Obama's rejection of Farrakhan?

Summary: On February 27, MSNBC devoted significant coverage to an
exchange from the most recent Democratic presidential debate in which
NBC Washington bureau chief Tim Russert repeatedly questioned Sen.
Barack Obama about praise he received from controversial minister
Louis Farrakhan, whose statements Obama has denounced. The same day,
Pastor John Hagee -- who has made controversial comments about
homosexuality, Islam, Catholicism, and women -- endorsed Sen. John
McCain, who embraced Hagee's support. Hagee's endorsement and McCain's
response to it raise the question of whether MSNBC will report on them
as extensively as it did on Farrakhan's praise.

On at least nine* different occasions on February 27, MSNBC either
aired or discussed an exchange from the February 26 Democratic
presidential debate in which moderator Tim Russert, NBC's Washington
bureau...

At a town hall meeting in Richardson, Texas, Thursday afternoon, Sen. John
McCain, R-Ariz., made a gaffe that will surely provide myriad conservative
radio talk show hosts confirmation of their views, by accidentally calling
himself a liberal.

"I will conduct a respectful debate," McCain told the crowd at Texas
Instruments, per ABC News' Bret Hovell. "Now, it will be spirited because
there are stark differences. I am a proud conservative, liberal Republica---
conservative Republican," he said, catching himself. "Hello?" he said as the
crowd laughed. "Easy there."
