LAGRANGE, Ind. -- A pastor forced to resign last fall now faces
forgery charges alleging he misappropriated about $40,000 in church
funds.
LaGrange County prosecutors have filed five counts of forgery against
David Eugene Troyer, 65, who is being sought by Indiana State Police.
Until last fall, when officials asked him to resign, Troyer was pastor
of Maple Grove Church in the LaGrange County town of Topeka about 40
miles north of Fort Wayne.

20 arrested in prostitution sting including Marshall P&Z official
A member of the Marshall Planning and Zoning Commission was among 20
people who were arrested during a prostitution sting Thursday.
Barry Allen Lovely, 45, also is the owner of Barry Lovely Bail Bonds
and has served as pastor of Corinth Baptist Church, both in Marshall.

"What is Fox News?" asks comedian and activist Lee Camp on the air.
"It's just a parade of propaganda, isn't it? It's just a...festival of
ignorance.
"A million people are dead in Iraq. Come on. This is ridiculous.
What's the point of this?"
"This is insane," Camp continues. "Go out--leave your home. Go
outside! Go hug your children! Love your family, you know? Do
something with your life."
The anchor and panelist quickly act to drown out Camp's speech before
handing the show off to another Fox anchor, flanked by four buxom
women in makeshift Star Trek uniforms, to promote a story about
Captain Kirk's sex appeal.

Loremo, which stands for "low resistance mobile," combines an
efficient diesel engine with low weight and minimal drag to get
upwards of 150 mpg.
The idea is deceptively simple. Forget about fancy batteries,
regenerative braking, and alternative fuels. Instead, make a car
that's elegant in its minimalism and efficiency. The Loremo's German
designers revisited the basics — engine efficiency, low weight, and
minimal drag — to create a car that offers fuel-efficiency in the
neighborhood of 130 to 150 miles per gallon. The Loremo is likely to
dazzle drivers not with its acceleration, but with its ability to
drive from New York to L.A. with only three stops at the pump.
Loremo stands for low resistance mobile, and its engineers have stuck
obsessively to this idea. By building the car around a 2-cylinder
turbodiesel engine, and cutting back on weight, drag, and other excess
fat such as side-opening doors, the Loremo puffs out a mere 50 grams ...
