In case you missed it, on Thursday night's "Countdown" Keith Olbermann
presented an impressively detailed timeline he called "The Nexus of Politics
and Terror," in which he chronicled the Bush administration's exploitation
of terror threats for political gain. Olbermann's exhaustive account weaves
from each revelation of an intelligence failure or a Democratic political
victory to an almost immediate orange alert or "new threat" from al Qaeda.

The clip is 17 minutes long and entirely worth it, and its conclusion -
"what we were told about terror, and not told, for security reasons, has
overlapped considerably with what we were told about terror, and not told,
for political reasons" - is a dutiful summary of the past six years.

Bellemore sexually abused three male students when he was a teacher,

Justice Ewan Crawford said Bellemore had used his superiority to have

WINNIPEG - A former Manitoba Bible college counsellor was convicted
Thursday of repeatedly molesting a young student during a role-playing
game in which he promised to make the sexually confused man "go
straight."

The 60-year-old accused pleaded not guilty to sexual assault at the
start of his Queen's Bench trial earlier this week.

The alleged victim testified Monday about months of "touch therapy,"
which included sexual encounters with the accused at various locales,
including at a retreat in Gimli, Man., Winnipeg's Fun Mountain
waterslides and even in the floodway surrounding the city.

DECATUR, Ga -- A Decatur pastor Saturday found himself facing a
potential 25years to life sentence after being convicted of aggravated
sexual battery and child molestation. A DeKalb County jury convicted
Bishop Frederick Kelley Friday night.

Kelley's conviction stemmed from an incident involving a teenage girl
who was a foster child in his home. Kelley and his family vehemently
denied the charges.

to a federal penitentiary in Atlanta around 8 a.m. Friday morning to
begin serving a 21-month sentence for tax fraud.

Clarke walked into prison wearing a Crimson Tide jacket and baseball
cap. He made the journey on a chartered bus, accompanied by about 50
church members. Other church members and supporters followed in
vehicles.
