You mean Roger Clinton?
"He's got a nose like a hoover" -- Roger Clinton, on videotape
describing the voracious coke appetite of his brother, Bill.

Yep. And much of the contents are designed to float (seat cushions, etc).

BZZT! Not a chance in hell. Jets break up, every time.

The jet fuel (which can melt steel skyscrapers in minutes) probably
instantly vaporized the entire airplane and all of the passengers, just like
the jet that hit the Pentagon on 9/11!

"Our new direction will advance a common agenda, seek
common ground, and apply common sense in the service
of the common good. We know that with a new direction,
we can meet our national challenges in a way that makes
our nation stronger, our economy more vibrant, and
our families more secure." - Nancy Pelosi 16-June-2006
Read a socialist mantra and you will find nearly the identical
wording, 'use common sense in service of the common good'. Which is a
subtle means to say, 'not just the government, but the right kind of
government, needs to make decisions for you'.
The failures of past top-down federal government programs, such as
welfare, the War on Poverty, and the Great Society (which have cost
taxpayers more than three trillion dollars) only mean that more
legislation and more taxpayer dollars are necessary.

Warm Air Aloft
Strange climes, strange times

It was chilly this morning.
Thirteen above, call it minus ten Celsius. But then, itÂ’s BEEN
cooler than is usual in these parts pretty much steadily since mid
November. As a result, the wood pile is going faster than normal, and
weÂ’ve been getting winter conditions we donÂ’t often see: whiteouts,
white ice, snow tornadoes traipsing down the boulevard.
For all of that, itÂ’s a dry winter. We only have about 60%% of the
snowpack we would normally have. A “normal” winter features lots of
big fat snowflakes falling straight down at thirty degree
temperatures.

I always find such essays fun to play with. Our founding fathers didn't
put a single Christian concept into the Constitution. In fact, the even
went as far as forbidding religious test for public office. In other
words, they wanted to keep religion out of government as much as possible.
Today, we have people rewriting history faster than we write it, in a
vain attempt to get it to conform to their beliefs.
If our founding fathers wanted us to be a Christian nation, they would
have said so in all our founding documents.
