LANGLEY PARK, Maryland—Several hundred workers turned out for a protest
vigil at the Liberty Place Apartments here to demand justice for Manuel
de Jesús Espina, a 40-year-old plumber from Guatemala. Espina was gunned
down August 16 by Prince George’s County cop Steven Jackson as Espina
was celebrating his birthday in his apartment.
