A month ago I asked about how to prevent my Bank account from being
garnished. I received several good replies and references to various laws.
Armed with that info I called 3 different banks and got the same answer.
Basically "We don't do that, and when a garnishment comes in we must take it
out of the account. None would mark the account as "Title II funds not
subject to garnishment"
Does anyone actually have such an account? Or was it just a lot of talk with
no one actually having it?
And if you do have this account set up and running, Marked for no
garnishment could you tell me the bank?
Thanks

Rip asked,
A month ago I asked about how to prevent my Bank account from being
garnished. I
-------------------------------------------
My brother - n- law had the same prob. He called SS & they told him to
stop getting direct deposit & resume getting his check thru mail. They
said that the only way he was 100 %% sure his money would not be touched.
So he changed & they tried to get his check to no avail.
