yes, Bob, I also got a note from TW saying it was a hoax. I jumped the
gun (late at night) in passing it on after seeing it was list in snopes
as "Real virus" without reading the whole article. apparently the hoax
part is that it doesn't wipe out your hard drive. it also dated back to
Jul 07.

but I believe that ecards are a hazard anyway. if you get one the best
action to take is to go to the card company's site from your browser
with the id # handy and look for it there, instead of using the link in
the email.

and I use AVG for AV, also free
