Perfume from Paris

Author: Adam H. Kerman

A routine from a Bing Crosby radio program. Note: Given the age of the
users of this newsgroup, I don't have to explain who the following
people were, or that radio once had entertainment programs.

Ken Carpenter: Say, Bing, have you heard about the new perfume from
Paris? It's very powerful stuff. Use a little bit in a room and all the
people will fall in love.

Bing: Let's use a bit of it on Stalin's mustache at the UN.

Ken: The perfume has no name because no one can quite describe it. A man
used a bit of it on a letter her wrote to his girl...

Bing: Yeah, yeah. She read the letter, smelled the perfume, agreed to
marry him, and they all lived happily ever after.

Ken: No! She couldn't wait. She got a whiff of it and eloped with the postman!
