I must be getting old...

I have been trying Savinelli's English Mixture in a Savinelli
Nonpareliel. This mixture is 30%%Latakia with Virginia and a small
amount of Burley. Quite a good tobacco

Untypical June day here - 104 and humidity is about 15%%. Usual is about 108.

PS LNF in a Castello Bent Billiard and then a Ser Pacapo Lovat, Diet RC

I used one once, and quickly pulled it off. I don't like how it makes
the bit bigger, and I don't like how it feels in the mouth. I am not
bothered by the tooth marks on my pipes, and don't plan on selling any
of mine. As others have posted "to each his own".

Ad: 7 new Monstrosity pipes available at OomPaul.com!!!

Author: Olie
Date: Jun 8, 2010 04:01

Seven new beasts in all, five Hussars, one lucky Dragon's Claw pipe,
and one Gnome Liver pipe, so basically, all your old favorites!!!

The Revolting Hussars!
Don't call them Churchwardens, these beasts are Hussars! Spanning
between 10.5 and 11 inches long, these new Monstrosity Hussars are the
beasts you've been waiting for! Named after real Hussars of days past,
these beasts, true to form, will eliminate any worthy opponents
crossing their path. Please store in a safe place away from other
pipes.

Liver of Gnome!
This deep blood red Monstrosity weighs in at 5 ounces, the average
weight of an actual gnome liver. Coincidence? Of course not! Talk
about raw materials. If you've never had the opportunity to test how a
real gnome liver smokes, now is your chance.

  MON. 6/7 evening smokes

Author: Ed Duncan
Date: Jun 8, 2010 03:13

evening greets all from 54, clear Western NY. After dinner, maiden
voyage of '06 Davidoff Scottish Mixture in LaughingBacchus meer, tea/
reading evening "rag" on the side. My comparison with those at
TobbReviews of this.....wife friendly room aroma, smokeable,
tolerable, will finish the tin but it will smoke hot, so thin wall
pipes probably out. Would give it a "2" if I submitted a review. Other
"new to me" is C&D '06 Sunset Harbor Flake. Opened the tin & found it
to be a krumble kake. Good. Won't have to mangle it. 1st smoke in
little pressed meer after wifie goes up to bed. Definitely a latakia
tin aroma. After checking latest e-messages.....to the chats.
