I'm perfectly aware you can (and should) make chocolate milk with dry
cocoa, but I wanted to attempt to make it with melted bar chocolate.
First I melted the chocolate in a double boiler. Then I poured it in a
glass and poured cold milk over it. I tried to stir the chocolate in,
but it had solidified again immediately when the cold milk touched it.
That was stupid. So I put the whole concoction in a pan and heated it.
The chocolate took forever to melt in the milk, so I turned it up to
high, and when I poured it out, a bunch of nasty scalded milk was left
on the bottom. It was too hot to drink at the moment, so I put it in a
covered jar in the fridge overnight. I tried to drink it but it nearly
made me gag, I nearly swallowed a huge chunk of solidified fat and
chocolate that had settled to...
