The forecast for our mountain village tonight and tomorrow is up
to 2.5' (that's feet, not inches!) of snow. Think I better go
buy a pink snow shovel for my bitter-half.

unfortunately, it's Buddha.

Lady Gin and me would like to invite you to a celebration at Castle
Sixtyplus in honour of the coming Festive Season and the advent of our
group of new friends.
The pig is roasting on the spit, vittells are plentiful and the
barrells are tapped in the cellars - beds are aired and serving
wenches comely.
Dress optional - it is preferred that armour be polished and all gunk
cleaned from riding boots....
Serfs and squires will be well catered for in the kitchens so come
one, come all...

the invitations been sent out? In honour of the Christmas
celebrations perhaps a fine pig on the spit....what would be Christmas
with the Christmas Ham?
~~~~~~~~
Couchon du lait is roasting on the kitchen spit and a roast beast is on the
open hall hearth. We also have a fyne supply of comestibles for all and
sundry at the ready.
Mi'Layde, I am sorry to report that Sir Lyndon hath accosted the serving
wenches and chambermaids, calling them "tidy" and charming then whilst
holding a mirror until they swoon into his arms!! I am aferred the
bedchambers are still quite dusty....or mayhaps...
our little group.
I am trying to alert our brave and noble knights to don their armour
and get their butts over there but I don't hear the jingle of
harnesses nor the tooting of trumpets....
Lady Gin!!!!! where are the knights??????
Crapola!! My sincesest apologies for that
vulgarity, Mi'Layde but what with getting the victuals and drinks out, I
completely forgot to have the main drawbridge lowered!!!
serving wenches and chambermaids to mind their stations as Layde Fayre is on
