Heidi Klum's Risqué Story of Falling for Seal

If Seal and Heidi Klum's children ever ask about how their parents
fell in love, the couple may have to make something up.

"I met him in a hotel lobby in New York City and he came in just from
the gym and I was sitting there and I was, like, wow," Klum tells
Oprah Winfrey on her show's Superstar Couples episode set to air
Thursday.

Wow, as in Seal was wearing bicycle shorts.

"And I pretty much saw everything," says Klum. "The whole package."

From that moment on, the passion never died. The couple, in a rare
joint television interview, say on The Oprah Winfrey Show that they've
worked to keep those early feelings alive.

"The most common hiccup," says Seal, is when the first child comes
along. "And it turns into all about the kids, which is understandable
because they're miraculous. But then you've got to put each other
first. You know, she will always be number one for me."

"Is it true?" asks Winfrey.

"I have the most romantic husband," says Klum. "I do."

Dr. Kyle Julian (Adam Grimes) of SOAPnet's "General Hospital: Night
Shift" develops a romantic relationship with a male patient played by
out actor and gay activist Chad Allen, "Soaps" columnist Michael Logan
notes in the 9/15-21 issue of TV GUIDE.

Chad Allen plays Eric Whitlow, who's admitted to the hospital for
cirrhosis of the liver. The first installment of the three-episode
storyblock airs Tuesday night (9/23/2008) on SOAPnet.

"This is not another story about a guy struggling with his sexuality
or a guy whose parents don't approve of his gay lifestyle," Allen told
Logan. "Eric is a grown man, a real levelheaded guy, who loves the
person that he is and wants a partner, despite his questionable life
expectancy."

Allen said the romance between Eric and Kyle is allowed to develop
slowly, which sounds somewhat remarkable considering the storyline
only takes three episodes. "It's not hot-and-heavy from the get-go,"
Allen told Logan. "[Kyle and Eric] recognize in each other a kindred
soul. It's mature television."

Singer Natalie Cole, who’s been battling Hepatitis C since being
diagnosed in July with the liver disease, is in the hospital.

“The combination of the treatment she’s been undergoing and the heavy
promotional schedule for her new album took its toll,” Cole's
publicist Maureen O’Connor said. “Her doctors decided they needed to
put her in the hospital. They expect her to be there for a few days,
then she’ll be on a month of bed rest.” She said this setback in
Cole's treatment is not considered life-threatening.
