Looks like someone didn't "manage her expectations" very well:
Source: http://www.stripperweb.com/forum/showthread.php?t=78374
"I've been friends with M since we were in fourth grade almost 20 years ago.
For five years, she's been with this guy, who we will call Schmuck. She's
been wanting to get married, but he hasn't been "ready." They moved into an
apartment together a year ago. Several months back, she was diagnosed and
treated for chlamydia, and she was upset, but he convinced her that Planned
Parenthood just made a mistake. Then in November he started showing all the
obvious signs of cheating, and last week she snuck into his camera and email
and got absolute proof that he was cheating with one of his employees, a
19-year-old girl (he's a store manager).
So she broke up with him. And good for her! But did she stop there? Oh, no.

What does this have to do with MLTR?

Perhaps not, however you entitled the post "When MLTR doesn't work",
misleading the reader into believing that this was in fact, an example
of an MLTR that didn't work.

I thought MLTR's were a consensual thing, where each woman knows about
the others and has agreed to the arrangement. This seems like nothing
more than a simple case of infidelity.
Intellectual dishonesty is a sad thing to see.

"MLTR" is a kind of male-centric version of polyamoury where the guy
has a harem of chicks who all wait at home devotedly for his attentions
while he fucks whichever one her wants whenever. I can't imagine the
"long term" element of the scenario to actually work very often, given
the amount of time and attention that just one woman requires in an LTR
(as opposed to a fuckbuddy), the likelihood is that the "secondary"
chicks in an MLTR will drift away quickly into other relationships.
I think that a more realistic and workable verison of MLTR is what's
been described as MLTR2 on formhandle's site. Where you have one LTR
who's bisexual and you seduce and sexually interact with other chicks
as a tandem.
Interestingly, most of the writing you can find on polyamoury, outside
of the version of it envisioned by the "seduction community" is done by
women.

LOL! You're so predictably wrong.

(Shrug) What others do, what they will accept, is a personal issue.

Thank you, that's great insight. I agree that the "long term" element
sounds more like wishful thinking than actual practice.

Your correct.
Unfortunately most posters to seduction forums think that if they're seeing
two girls at once without either of them knowing about it they have a MTLR
going.
Of course in many cases they are just making up stuff to try to impress just
like the ASF resident newsloon does.
