Regardless of under whose supervision and/or learning materials you
choose to derive and master your pick-up and seduction techniques,
there can only be Seven Great Themes that are so pervasive within the
Pick-Up Kommunity. The Pick-Up Kommunity consists of people (like you)
and gurus, seduction books, videos, audios, seminars, and web sites.
At the heart of things, the learning materials and teachings are ALL
variations of these Seven Basic Themes. So, if you're looking to start
your own seminar, write your own book, record your own video/audio, or
start your own seduction web site, all you have to do is cover these
Seven Great Themes, and you're a complete business and good to go!

In order to get a bird's eye's view of Pick-Up and Seduction, we could
travel to outer space (because the Pick-Up Kommunity is found all over
the globe), but that would be too expensive. Rather, it would be more
useful if we could gather up and unify all of the Seven Great Themes
under one roof. But then again, a house is a bit expensive for me to
purchase and maintain. I know, how about a box instead to contain
them?! But not just any box, mind you: A Pandora's Box! Let me show
you what I mean.

PANDORA'S BOX (Image Courtesy of WikiPedia): In Greek mythology,
"Pandora's box" is the large jar (πιθος pithos) carried by Pandora
(Πανδώρα) that contained all the evils of mankind--greed, vanity,
slander, lying, envy, pining--and hope. The original Greek word used
was pithos which is a large jar. The mistranslation of pithos as "box"
is usually attributed to the 16th century humanist Erasmus of
Rotterdam when he translated Hesiod's tale of Pandora into Latin.
Hesiod's pithos refers to a storage jar for oil or grain. Erasmus,
however, translated pithos into the Latin word pyxis, meaning "box".
The phrase "Pandora's box" has endured ever since. This misconception
was further backed by Dante Gabriel Rossetti's painting Pandora.

Pandora's Box Was the Ultimate Container of The Seven Great Themes

"Pandora had been given a large jar and instructed by Zeus to keep it
closed, but she had also been given the gift of curiosity, and
ultimately opened it."
-WikiPedia

In a similar fashion, your curiosity about the opposite sex led you to
stumble upon this web site. It's safe to say that during your quest
for the greater good of mankind (ie. no pick-up/seduction = no sex =
no reproduction = no future people), you won't be opening any
Pandora's Box any time soon, my friend, for it has already been
opened! What you WILL discover are the trails left behind by the Seven
Great Miseries (ahem, I meant, the Seven Great Themes of Pickup and
Seduction) that have fled the jar to wreak havoc on humanity, or to
bestow their blessing upon knowledgeable PUA's (whichever way you want
to look at it).

You see, a woman is simply not looking to have sex with a good,
honest, warm, kind-hearted, hard-working, and predictable man with a
stable job (ie. a Nice Guy with a nice job). (Well, maybe for
marriage, but usually not to have casual sex with!) And, by the way a
woman selects her sexual partner, she is actively looking for, in her
partner, attributes of the Seven Great Miseries that have fled the
original Pandora's jar. Two theories exist as to explain why this is:

Theory 1:

Males, who possess the Seven Attributes, remind her of Pandora's
original curiosity. (Note: Mystery men are also a smash hit to women).

Theory 2:

As a woman, she seeks to redeem Pandora's mis-doing by "collecting"
back the Seven Attributes from the males who possess them.

But, in layman's term, she is simply curious about where to such
potential relationships with such (dangerous, or awesome, if you're a
PUA that is) men may lead. In other words, she is just looking for
danger and excitement in her life, whereas most Nice Guys would rather
have her life comfortably lived for her. (Note, most anecdotes found
on this site are meant to be taken in light humor only! ;) )

So, what are the Seven Great Miseries from Pandora's jar, er, I meant
the Seven Attributes that All Great PUAs Share, anyways? Well, here
they are:

In Greek mythology, "Pandora's box" is the large jar (πιθος pithos)
carried by Pandora (Πανδώρα) that contained all the evils of mankind--
greed, vanity, slander, lying, envy, pining--and hope.

(Note: For the sake of our discussion, "evils of mankind" is such a
harsh term. Let's call them the Seven Miseries, er, I mean, the Seven
Attributes of a Great PUA/Seductionist instead!)
