Day 5: Court is now in session.
So far we’ve seen that:
1) Mr. Vizzini’s and UnKaH’s views are indistinguishable from one
another.
2) Mr. Vizzini has a long history of posting to forums from different
accounts.
3) There is evidence that UnKaH is a created persona.
4) UnKaH fits the role of Mr. Hyde.
Today: Does Mr. Vizzini fit the role of Dr. Jekyll?
The attribute we are drawing a parallel to here is that Dr. Jekyll has
a reputation or persona to protect. At first look, placing Mr.
Vizzini in the role of Dr. Jekyll does not seem to fit.
The problem we have is this: Mr. Vizzini seems to cultivate an
attitude of not caring what his critics think of him. He is
frequently outspoken, critical, and rude.
In fact, on Day 3 of this trial Mr. Hellbwat raised this very
objection:
“…the dark character is usually there to say things that other wise
would not be said in character…” and:
“…Tom is very willing to say, go fuck yourself and all the other
nasties in which I am so famous for. So your argument falls apart very
rapidly...”
Mr. Hellbwat is right. Why would someone well-known for expressing
himself without restraint need any kind of shield to hide behind?
Today we will look for answers to that question.

Despite Mr. Vizzini’s willingness to be rude and outspoken, what
someone will say in a public forum is usually edited somewhat to
maintain the congruency of their persona.
Let us try another metaphor to make this clearer. Cast Mr. Vizzini in
the old ‘Good Cop/Bad Cop’ routine. If Mr. Vizzini is the Good Cop,
he is no pansy. He’s tough, focused on results, and will not tolerate
bullshit.
Still, there are some lines the Good Cop doesn’t want to be seen
crossing. That’s where the Bad Cop comes in. He has nothing to
protect except his partner, which he does with absolute brutality.

Poster Wendi Friesen writes about her run-in with Mr. Vizzini over
teaching re:Money Magnet, and claims she was abused and reviled on Mr.
Vizzini’s list.
The typical posts follow, some in support (like that of poster Elvis
Lester), some against. For whatever reason, Mr. Vizzini chooses not
to respond. We do however get the following post from UnKaH:
“Ahhh, Elvis Lester, part of the dizzy duo has spoken. Um, Lester if
you get into her pants you may want to bring along two paper bags, one
for each of you.”
Good one! Though not a comment that Mr. Vizzini would like to be
attributed to him. But one wonders why UnKaH would take such a nasty
shot in a thread that presumably has nothing to do with him?

Mr. Vizzini advertises his upcoming seminars. Poster Patrick Galvin
(who we quoted yesterday) challenges him with:
“Tell us specifically what you have accomplished using NLP in the
real
world… Have you photo-read your way to a college degree yet?...”
Again for whatever reason, Mr. Vizzini chooses not to respond. We get
this post from UnKaH:
“Ah, the stupid fuck wants paper, he wants someone to go through
something to get a degree and have something to prove on paper… Why in
the hell do you get so nasty to someone's post when they aren't
fucking talking to you? Come on and quite being such a little bitch
and show us something. Prove something except that you got a big
mouth.”
Again, not a quote that would look good on Mr. Vizzini. And again we
wonder why UnKaH is compelled to get involved in this thread.

I don’t want to give you the impression that Mr. Vizzini never gets
his hands dirty. He does. Here’s a particular nasty exchange:

Poster Cameron takes issue with, among other things, Mr. Hellbwat
calling Cameron’s grandmother a whore, and posts:
“For only $70 you too can pick up communication skills like these…”
This time Mr. Vizzini does respond, and away we go:
“Wrong dumb ass...... The 3D mind is not a commuication sklls model.
Is there anything you can get right?”
At one point Cameron posts:
“Why is observing a trainer who claims to have wonderfull non
reactive
technology resort to name calling irrelevant to this discussion?...”
Mr. Vizzini’s response?:
“Because you fucking moron.....I just thought that would be fun…”
Clearly Mr. Vizzini can handle himself, and is willing to do so when
so moved. Still, UnKaH shows dedication to his calling:
“…I come here as I please and post as I please, how ever I please. You
are stuck in your patterns, you know of only one way to respond,
because your ignorance filter is your primary filter, followed closely
by stupidity…”
and: ”You rat bastard mother fuckers…”
and: “But just because your an overly sensensitive man bitch, don't
try to force your crappy beliefs on to me....”
and: “If you want to continue to harp about our behavior, go fuck
yourself because I really don't care, neither does Tom...”
Perhaps not Good Cop/Bad Cop, but more “Bad Cop/Insane Cop”?

At the end of it all we are left to ponder what UnKaH’s interest is
here. Does he get paid for his services? Is he obsessed with Mr.
Vizzini? He seems more concerned for Mr. Vizzini’s reputation than
Mr. Vizzini actually does. Curious indeed.
In any case, where Mr. Vizzini goes, UnKaH follows. What Mr. Vizzini
writes, UnKaH defends. Whosever attacks Mr. Vizzini must face the
wrath of UnKaH.
We have already established that UnKaH fits the role of Mr. Hyde. Let
the record show that although he is no angel:
5) Mr. Vizzini fits the role of Dr. Jekyll.
