We are Denver,CO based IT consulting company and we are currently
looking for Network Engineer with (CCIE Written Test) for our prefered
client at Durham, NC

Duration :- Longterm

Location :- Durham, NC
Rate :- $ 40/hr on C2C
Complete Description:
Working with a variety of customers, from small to mega in size and
scope, to provide data network architecture consulting and complex
data network design services.
Requires strong customer-facing skills in leading the discussion of
selecting technologies and services that will provide the IT
infrastructure to support the customers business needs.
Thoroughly understand the current Cisco product line and hardware
usage/placement recommendations.
Develops complex network designs including the integration of a broad
spectrum of networking and data center technologies as well as
performance and capacity management and security measures.
These designs may require the use of network appliances (e.g., WAN
accelerators, load balancers, firewalls).
They may also require complex IP network routing configurations (e.g.,
interaction between multiple routing protocols, route filters, route
preferences).
Thoroughly understand structured, hierarchical network design
principles and industry best practices for LAN/WAN design.
This includes the ability to audit existing network implementations
against these best practices.
Recommend remediation plans and design changes to standardize the
implementation.
Develop customer-specific design standards, naming standards, hardware
recommendations and device configuration templates.
Review and identify trends within LAN/WAN capacity and performance
reports.
Recommend changes to increase (or decrease) network capacity to
proactively address these trends.
Identify and document individual subtasks required to implement a
network topology change.
Assess the staffing skill-level and approximate time commitment
required to execute each individual subtask.
This is not a hands on support position but builds on prior support
and implementation experience so the architect has an understanding of
capability and integration of various network technologies and
products and can provide Level 4 assistance during outages.
