Through all the years of my study and research into hypnosis and other stuff
I was always bothered by the idea that there was this separate mind.
It was often described as unconscious or subconscious. It was also given
amazing powers like total infallible recall, super awareness, control of all
body functions and so forth. I was enthralled with the idea of getting
control of this powerful part of my mind.
I began running into a few problems with the theory of the unconscious.

You probably expecting a flame post from me given our past discussions

Your points well cover Tom's, in keeping with the view of the
subconscious mind.
You are certainly correct when you mention about why 6 people can view
a crime scene and give 6 different views as to what actually happened.
The most important thing I have discovered about memory is that the
emotional impact of any event is what will retain the memory or not.
If you teach children and they have fun doing it, they will remember
far better than learning by rote memory. Most people can't remember
what they had for dinner last tuesday night, but can remember
christmas dinner 15 years ago, what was the difference, it was the
emotional content, whether good or, what we can bad emotions, existed
will determine whether a memory gets stored or not.
I certainly hope that this level of conversation can continue without
the flame wars. Even when sides disagree.

Sure thing retard. Let's just forget all about your reputation and
posting history.
Not likely.

Nice sentence, retard.

One would have to lower themselves to the level of retard for it to
continue on the same level that you've established, Unkah Retard.
Here's hoping you step it up a notch.

Thank You for your timely remarks, However they are pretty much off
topic for this discussion, maybe you might want to join in and add
what you know about this subject or maybe you don't know anything
about this and should just read and learn something, the education is
here, and it is free, now it boils down to whether you want to learn
something or not, that is a choice only you can make. If you continue
in this same vein of shit talking, I'll just ignore you and chalk it
up as ignorance is your preferred choice.
If indeed ,as you say, I am a retard, then you should be able to
dispute what has already been written or add something too it, your
response will tell the tale.
