Gordon doesn't say much of anything but 'Look at me!', whatever he
writes. He has no motivation beyond look at me, whatever the subject
is. He wants attention and I am happy to provide it, in part.
The idea isn't flawed, by the way. It is inneffectual, ill conceived,
ill considered and just plain worthless. Of course we want something
to be done. You see the hue and cry for something to be done all the
time. I wish something were done because I am in the business of
doing photographs for other businesses to promote their products and
services. When business is bad for them, it's bad for me. We don't
need another voice saying something should be done or restating the
obvious difficulties so many of us are having.
We need a discussion about what we will demand the government do or
our representatives will lose their jobs and that discussion has to be
informed and focussed on what is practical now, what will be practical
in the future and how to make any needed changes the least traumatic
for all.
That is a topic for another NG, though. This is the 'Whack the Ray
Mole' playroom.
