I've been experimenting with being totally up front with the pickup
thing to the person i'm picking up usually with mixed-results. Most
women seem pretty intigued and usually say yes when I ask them if I
'can use them as a guinea pig'. I usually go right into anchoring with
nlp, etc.

The relevance of this? I have a friend who's into the whole indie film
thing and now I'm toying with the idea of picking up on women in front
of a film crew. I have a theory (I haven't tried this yet) that women
might be more open to playing along when a camera and boom mic are
shoved in her face thus eliminating the bitch shield and providing
social proof "he's filming a documentary and damn... look at that
camera-girl". It could also potentially add a bit of comfort to the
scene "nothing bad can happen on camera..."

Lastly, it would be a good way to film a pickup...

All of said equipment can be borrowed from film schools if you happen
to be a student or are friends/fuck buddies with one.
