Is he trying to say he has some kind of connection with a nationally
known figure?

Too bad none of those are in the DSM, fr00t l00p.
YOUR symptoms, on the other hand...

Many people with mental illnesses are very successful. Look at
Mystery - some have alleged he is bi-polar. But no one denies
his amazing success. He is a leader in his field and he is
known the world over.
On the other hand there is the newsloon, who is completely and
utterly dependent on Usenet for Narcissistic Supply and who
continually projects his subconscious self-loathing behaviors
onto others.

Wouldn't surprise me if he were bipolar. Many creative and talented people
are.
However, with mental illness, success is often impossible without treatment.

Fr00t l00p's failures are directly attributable to his failure to seek the
proper medical help for his illnesses.

Gordo screams that he's got such amazing new methods.... but apparently he's
still such a fraud and a failure... all he can do is spend his Saturday
night on Usenet obsessing over john edwards. He can't get even one single
woman to take a picture with him.
When met with a ridiculously simple challenge, he tucks his tail and runs
like a weak scared little coward yelping and crying.
Gordo proves once more, he's all hot air and bullshit... a sad inept
impotent loser living in his delusional fantasy world.
He was too much of a pitiful spineless little nothing to even TRY.... and he
knows it. He knows he was so afraid of his eminent failure, that he
couldn't even attempt to meet the most basic and simple of challenges. So
now to cover the shame and embarrassment of having everybody see what a
clear abject failure and fraud gordo is, he'll have to scream and make noise
about lawsuits.
LOL!!! GORDO EPIC FAIL!!!

It's not the NPD that stops individuals from being successful.
It's the newsloon part. That's the real killer.
Sad but true.

What's this? Your laundry list of reasons why you're jealous of Fluffy
the Trial Lawyer?
Here, I'll give you a couple more:
successful litigator
able to write a coherent complaint
doesn't get laughed out of court
gets more press attention than all the newsloons in the world, combined
