I know. My Space/You Tube messiahs, out to deliver the received word
on whatever the subject, prepared to cleanse the unwashed and lead the
lost along some righteous path to redemption according to their
Gospel. You don't need to be a forensic psychologist to pick out the
personal issues they are dealing with, it's reflected in the analogies
they use, the examples they give, the rationalizations they hold on to
like they were life preserving facts that will keep them from drowning
and, of course, who they choose as the enemy.
The really irksome thing is they never look before they leap. A
little time spent going through the archive for this NG and filtering
for the seduction advice would have shown him that this isn't an
environment for his ideology. It probably wouldn't matter if he did.
A Zealot's work is never done.
