Which would be proof that you know who he is and where he lives and
that you know other identifying information which can be used to
procure a restraining order and serve it on him. (Or anything else for
that matter, which means that your claims that you didn't know where he
can be served is absolutely false.)
Alternatively, the only time the restraining order could possibly be
served is when he actually contacts you, and that first contact (before
he is served) would be legal, as a restraining order is not in effect
until it is served on the party of whom you are allegedly afraid. So
you're going to file now and tell the police they have to wait until
August to MAYBE serve it?
Dear Abby used to say that restraining orders aren't worth the paper
they're printed on.
