I'm not distracting myself. I'll re-repeat what I asked, though. I'd like
to be able to gain complete emotional and physical mastery using my mind.
To eliminate emotions such as pain, guilt, anxiety, fear, hate, anger,
love, joy, etc as factors that affect me in decisions or the physical
manfestations of these emotions. Tom specifically claimed that 3D Mind
would allow me to be able to obtain the ability to control my pulse rate,
my pupil diliation, and other involuntary actions. This is what I seek.
Mental mastery over physical and emotional control.
> For approach anxiety,

Don't have it. I have problems, really, even understanding the concept
sometimes. I know, logically, that it involves some sort of hesitation to
approaching new people, especially women, and then trying to talk with
them. But I don't have this, don't recall having ever had it, and so I
don't have a real frame of reference about what this is. It's sort of
like trying to describe the color red to a person blind from birth or the
sound of music to a person deaf from birth.

Well, I didn't say it can't be removed. I don't see why it couldn't be.
But, I do say it's genetic, or at least has a genetic background, as AA
is not something that is taught... and it's shared more or less
universally... but some families do not have it while a majority do.

Um. Okay. I'm not one of the Marketeers and haven't really taken a big
interest in Econ, so it's not really a strong subject of mine. But, I can
understand why students of Econ would be interested in the history of
Capitialism or other economic systems. See how they developed and such.
I'd bet Smith's "Wealth of Nations" is tops on their reading list. I
think that might be a dandy starting point for study.

What? I always thought research and science was a way for mankind to
study and learn and understand the world around him. But, if you thik
it's some sort of conspiricy by "The Man" to hold others down... um...
okay?

What? You are joking, I assume. Research serves to allow a person that
wants to know more about a subject to obtain knowledge without starting
from scratch, but to be able to see and replicate other people's
findings. For example, let's just say I was (and I'm not) a genetic
scientist.
Research would allow me to study the research of other genetists in the
Human Genome Project. I could review their research notes, study their
conclusions repeat their studies to see if I obtain the same results,
and/or I could use that research as the basis for further continued study
into even deeper projects, such as studying the role of the Y chromosome
in masculinity.
After my study... I would then be able to publish my findings in peer
reviews journals and it would be considered research by others. They
could then review my notes, study the conclusions I reach, repeat to see
if they obtain the same results, and/or use that research as the basis
for even deeper studies into the role of the Y chromosome and how the
absence of pair sequences on the Y chromosome relate to the addition or
absense of feminine traits in men.

I'll even give you an example of why research is so important. A few
years ago, a couple of slimy snake oil salesmen claimed to have foudn the
secrest to the first successful test of cold fusion. This, of course,
would be HUGE news, as cold fusion could potentially be a great source of
clean and cheap energy. The "scientists" that claimed to have done it,
however, were never able to replicate their results for others, even
while swearing they had done it.
Had they performed proper documentation and kept research so that others
could see what they done, the findings.. or lack of, in this case, could
be studied to find out what did and did not work. Other scientists could
have studied ideas for improving the process. But, the research, what
little there was, actually showed the "scientists" claiming to have
successfully generated a cold fusion reaction were actually nothing more
than charlatans. They were disgraced for their lies. They faked their
results and bolstered their claims.

Research is the key and cornerstone of any scientific endeavor or
academic study. It's the reason why people expect to find footnotes and a
bibliography in books, so references to prior ideas can be also studied.
When you read an article in American Scientific Mind... if you want to
know more about a particular point referenced in the article... you look
for the footnote telling you where additional information can be found. I
can't imagine any respectable scientist would say that research is a tool
for "The Man."
> What you should look for is tools and how you evaluate them is by the
> results it gets and by the results you get from using them.

Um... gee. Yeah. That is a great idea. And guess what the publication of
those results obtained by using a method are called? Research. What do
you think I am doing now, if not research?

I'm asking about your product is claiming to be able to do for me. Tom
has stated that it can allow me to control the blushing of my skin tone.
That's amazing. So, of course, now knowing that Tom says it can do
this... I'd like to see some of the methods used and the results
published that describe what happened and what results were achieved.
That's called... research.
I'm researching your product, like any consumer would, to understand more
about your product, so that I might make an informed decision about
purchasing this product versus a different product. It's no different
than my researching the contents of a can of Campbell's soup versus
Progresso. I look at the back of the cans to see what they have in them,
what the cost is, and then decide which brand I wish to purchase.
> So again, what is it you want to be able to do?

Again, it is to obtain mental mastery and control over emotional and
physical responses. Remember I asked about eliminating fear, guilt, hate,
etc...? Remember I asked about learning to control automatic responses to
pain? Remember I asked about learning to control automatic responses to
fear? That's what I'm looking for.
> P.S. Please dont answer every one of my paragraphs , and if you can
> just answer the last sentence it would be the best. Thanks.

Sorry, freind... If you only want the answers you seek, you're talking to
the wrong guy. If you ask me a question, I'll answer it as best I can.
I'm not like the Marketeers you usually banter with. I don't avoid or
pick or deflect topics. And I'm not here to discourage your advertising.
And I'm not here to say your product is . I can't make an
informed decision about your product until I hear just what it is and
what does. You know... research it.

I did look at the essential-skills website. But it really doesn't say
what 3D Mind is or what it does. It just says it's really great. It's
like looking at a can of Campbell's and only seeing a photo of the soup
and a few statements abut how it's a meal in a can... and never seeing
the ingredient list or nutrition information on the other side. Faced
with that information, I'd have to buy Progresso instead, if I saw the
ingredient list and nutrition information. What I'm looking for is the
information about what 3D Mind DOES and HOW it does it. Not a few photos
and some claims about how wonderful it is.
