Game Over Rant

Author: Ted E Bear
Date: Mar 10, 2008 06:23

As you know, Ray has been babbling his Game Over rant for years on this
group. Since it's nothing but a vehicle for him to post and receive flames,
I have finally decided to use this rant against him. I won't feed an
attention whore.

I endured his boorishness for a long time. I tried to block him to get to
the meat of the subject matter, and then I realized that there was no meat.
Ray has driven off anyone that might actually have...

The previous poster has been lying about me, anonymously, for a long time,
and giving legal advice to people even though he is not an attorney.

He claims the USCF has no record of my ever having played in tournaments,
despite more than one post to USENET of a game of mine that was PUBLISHED in
the August 1990 Chess Life. In fact, his and/or others' claims that I've
never been photographed with a woman are refuted by an issue of Philadelphia
Magazine from that era, which has a large picture of me playing chess in a
coffeehouse at a table that included hot chicks (not an easy accomplishment
for chess).

The previous poster claims to do some type of research or diligence
eegarding me, yet couldn't find a simple court pleading from July of last
year where I requested an extension of time in my suit against UPenn because
my mother died. For months, he continued his misrepresentation of my
situation before she died, which became even more of a misrepresentation
after she died. If he claimed to do any of the research he did, he wouldn't
have missed that, nor would anyone else here.

Oh my god Ted E Bear isn't a real attorney? How could you lie to us
like that? We trusted you and now it turns out that you aren't even a
real attorney? What about all the legal advice you gave out. What...

1990 was from a different era that is long past, what about NOW?!

either of these lying around, I'm sure you do Ray

I am a psychic. When I can't find justice any other way, I cast a
spell. Here's another one:

I command the heavens to make this true: Any person who criticizes me
from this point forward will experience the following:

1. If they have a child in gymnastics, that child will suffer a
paralyzing injury in the gym;

< ...have better things to do

The previous poster and others have better things to do than check their
lies before they publish them. As they are proven liars, their credibility
is shot.

These posters aren't shy about which commercial outfits they prefer, which
might indicate to the reader what is being taught, so they can decide
whether or not they wish to behave that way.

They have "better things to do" but somehow find time to reply to me en
masse, within minutes of posting.

They post here as if it were their JOB.

Are you still on the "everyone is paid to post to uesnet in a massive
worldwide conspiracy against you" kick? Because, if we were getting
paid to post to usenet, the material posted would be of a much higher
quality, in addition to being more voluminous. ...

What is this drivel all about? Obviously Gordon/Parker played
tournament chess prior to 1990; he's listed on the MSA. Individual
tournament crosstables from before 1991 were not preserved, but the
last published rating was imported. Exactly why Gordon/Parker thought
that being a long-inactive Class A-player would make him more
qualified to edit the USCF's web content than an active 2300-player
personally acquainted with many of the GMs and IMs escapes me, but
then so do many of his leaps of illogic.
