Looks like Mystery left nothing to chance with his "method." The women at
the "club" on the VH-1 show "The Pickup Artist" were PAID TARGETS.
Specifically, the CLUB paid the women bewteen $120-150 to film, in "club
funny money," and VH-1 had them sign a separate waiver that said they
weren't being compensated. The reason the women started speaking out is
that VH-1 put the words "there are NO ACTORS in this club" over the scenes,
thus destroying the TV credit they thought they'd be getting.

Says who? Cite a name. Repeating tolls posted to the VH1 boards isn't
proof.
And now you're claiming they weren't even paid in cash, but club bucks?
LOL!!

Win what, pauper?
Your FALSE accusation would result in the other party accruing
expenses that when proven right, would be ordered to be
reimbursed . . . by YOU.

A person who is coached is markedly different than an actor. Even if
it's the case, who cares? It's a TV show with production values that
need to be protected and from what I saw on that "moving target"
segment, dispensed at least some solid advice for dweebs and judging
by the numbers, was very successful at its primary objective of
entertaining audiences.
That's why they don't use live TV very much. If, say, for example,
Martha Stewart fucks up a batch of pumpkin soufl

Changing the story again? Doesn't help your credibility. Perhaps you
need more reliable and accurate sources.
>>> and VH-1 had them sign a separate waiver that said they weren't

And I am sure you can produce a copy of this so-called "waiver" and
post it on your website. Any one of the actors would probably be more
than willing to scan and make a .pdf of their waiver and give you
permission to post it on your self-abandoned blog or your website.
That is, if they actually existed.

Unless an individual is in the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) then they are
not licensed actors.
Given that they were paid in credit by the club and not by VH-1
directly, and if they are not SAG licensed, then they are not
considered actors. Thus the tag line is correct and they should not
expect TV credit as actors.
If it had said "No one was compensated for their appearance in this
show" then they would have been lying. As it is the statement is
correct.

To the extent they market how-to products or self-help, it's relevant. To
the extent it's entertainment, or "staged" (it can still be sort of real as
women have limits), of course the show must go on.

Prove it.
I do realize that you can't do that but since you made the claim it is up
to you to provide verifiable evidence of your claim. If you do not have
that verifiable evidence and cannot show it then you are lying.
