Gordon keeps rambling about Fair Housing. Post about something and mention
the Fairfax, you generally get some mumbling about Fair Housing. Makes me
wonder why he would be so concerned about it. Gordon doesn't fall into a
protected class unless he finally admits that his condition is in accordance
with the medical journals. Terminal stupid is not exactly a protected
group. I can't find Newsloon mentioned in the Act either. Yet he continues
to claim this Fair House law. I just can't connect the dots and we all know
Parker's history of interpreting the law.
So this begs a question of why is this so important to him. Why do we hear
so much about something that on the surface doesn't apply to him. Is it
because he misunderstands the law? This certainly is possible and very
feasible. His track record in this area would naturally create that
question. I believe and this is just my opinion that there might be another
reason. Is Gordon living in Section 8 housing? I don't know if he is but I
think it might not be a far stretch. I am just asking the question. If he
is, then paying attention to what protects you makes sense. He is just
trying to take care of his basic needs.
Again I don't know if he is but look at the HUD web site
http://www.hud.gov/news/release.cfm?content=pr06-145.cfm. Now compare this
criteria to statements that he has made to the court as part of his filings.
Look what he has said about his mental health and his income.
The grants are awarded under HUD's Section 811 program, which provides
housing for households with one or more very low-income individuals, at
least one of whom is at least 18 years old and has a disability, such as a
physical or developmental disability or chronic mental illness. The term
"person with disabilities" also includes two or more people with
disabilities living together, and one or more persons with disabilities
living with one or more live-in attendants. The program allows persons with
disabilities to live independently in their communities by increasing the
supply of rental housing with the availability of supportive services.
To be classified as "very low-income," a household income cannot exceed 50
percent of the area median income. However, most households that receive
Section 811 assistance have an income less than 30 percent of the area
median. Generally, this means that a one-person household will have an
annual income of about $12,550.
Again, I not saying that this is a good or a bad thing. Hey, I don't want
to see the guy living in a cardboard box. I rather he had a roof over his
hear. Preferably one that doesn't have internet access.
