Had a discussion today with a friend of mine who is a local cop. He
told me he's never heard of you or any complaint made by you against
anyone in this community, let alone any complaint made by you against
me.
Yet your persistent claim is that I was almost put in jail.
It's hard to reconcile your claim with the facts that I've never been
contacted by police, sheriff, constable, patrolman, campus security, or
any other law enforcement officer regarding any activities related to
anyone I contact on Usenet. I've never had to testify to a judge in
criminal court regarding any of my actions, and my record shows no
convictions outside the typical traffic violations.
