Like I said in another response, there are dates and then there are
dates. A person has to be at least marginally interested in you as a
potential seducer for a date to mean anything, otherwise it's just
going out and has no meaning for seduction beyond that. For her, it
could have been an opportunity to expand her social network or find
somebody with a shared non sexual interest.
