Thom - thanks for the update. A few questions. IANAL, so what exactly
does costs taxed against the appellant mean?
Also, the opinion does not seem to mention that factor. I am sure you
are privy to information others are not, but why is that not listed?

As much, umm, fun? as it is to read a bunch of amateurs argue points
without an attorney, I am reaching the point of confusion. Somewhere
along the line everyone seems to have passed by the main discussion
about Ray-Ray and his lawsuit and, worse, passed each other by in
arguing minutia.
First, I am going to make a few comments, then try to summarize my
understanding of what is going on and the major arguements being made. I
am sure this will lead to several comments and hopefully a few
corrections in my understanding.
General comments: I don't think Speeding is Ray. He writes too
coherently and argues a bit too logically. His writing pattern does not
match Ray for virulence. He is also a much better typist. And the final
point: he has, at least once, admitted an error in his comments. Ray
would never do that. However, I think he and Mr. Geiger have gotten way
too caught up in each other's position. Both need to step back and
realize this is a hypothetical arguement, as described below. Take a
deep breath, both of you. Relax and either shut up or get back to your
original position which I will attempt to refine below.
