Description: Requisition #: 08-14890 Job Title: Echosonographer II SATS City: Voorhees State: New Jersey Scheduled Shift: Days Employee Type: Regular - Full Time *Scheduled Days: Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Research Division: Requirements: Certified Cardiovascular Technologist/Registry Eligible. Computer familiarity. Ability to work well with children and put them at ease. Communicate well with others. - Graduate of accredited Cardiovascular Program. - Associate of Science Degree in Cardiovascular Technology. - Three years of experience in imaging pediatric cardiology patients. Job Description: Responsible for performing any combination of the folloiwng: imaging, diagnosing and preparing a preliminary report for transthoracic echocardiograms. Assists cardiologists with fetal echocardiograms. Monitors the patients respiratory and cardiac status for the duration of the study. Travels to satellite offices to provide technical support to physicians. Responsible for overall maintenance of records and completion of preliminary reports. These tasks are performed in accordance with the policies and procedures of the laboratory and under the direction of the supervisor of the lab and medical director.
